Praslin and other islands

For some visitors to Seychelles, Mahé’s mountain vistas and granite-lined beaches are stunning enough, but Seychelles’ 115 islands all have something to offer. The second-largest island, Praslin, boasts the UNESCO world heritage site, the Vallée de Mai, as well as Anse Lazio beach, which regularly tops international lists of the world’s most beautiful beaches.

The small-island charm of La Digue is a step back in time, where bicycles reign supreme as the most common mode of transport. Many other islands, such as Curieuse, the Sisters, Coco, St Pierre, Aride and Cousin can be easily accessed via boat excursions through licensed operators.
